AWARDED MOST IMPROVED DEALER OF 2011

A few months back I was approached by the Holden family to make them a pair of historical convict bonnets to honnour their ancestors who as convicts were transported to Tasmania in 1852.

Two bonnets were made. One for Alice Julian and one for her Daughter Rosaline Mary Walker who died at 18 months.

I was very honnoured to have my bonnets chosen to be on permanent display in the Female Cascade Factory World Heritage Historic Site in Hobart. "Out of the 1200 infant children wo died in prision due to the appauling conditions that I would know when the right mother and child bonnet came along"

The bonnets will be sent to Ireland to be blessed before returning to their final resting place.
